First time eating Thai food. It was delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the meal service was quick.
Thai basil was amazing. Great to find a gem like this while passing through.
Great food and cozy atmosphere! This family-owned business provides a personal touch where the owners are very friendly and welcoming.
This dining place is unique because it’s a mixed of rustic decors with a touch of DC and marvel comic wall decors. My husband ordered massaman curry and I ordered tom yum soup. The food was really good and the staff are nice too. The outside of the restaurant may look outdated but you’ll fall in love with the interior. Will definitely go back if we visit Indiana dunes.
They seriously take such amazing care of me here! I love going to this place and I love the service. The food is delicious everytime.
Very good and tasty place. People are nice. Food is awesome!
The Massamum curry is amazing (as is everything else, according to other people I've gone with who tried other dishes). Definitely a gem. If you like Thai, this is a must try.
Best Thai food in the entire Region/Chicagoland area! Fresh ingredients with large portions. Cool environment with the sweetest most genuine owners. They knew I was leaving back to Germany the next day and surprised us with a Thai desert that was out of this world! I recommend Spice to everyone! You’d seriously regret not going!
Spice Thai is my new favorite Thai place. The restaurant is so fun and cozy, with an interesting diner feel. The food and drink presentation is beautiful-from the crinkle cut carrots and plating to the unique bubble tea served frappe-style. The food was so flavorful-we could taste each ingredient! The desserts are mostly authentic-try the kao tom mud for sure. It’s a different flavor for the average palate, but sure to please the adventurous eater searching for true authentic flavors. The staff are so welcoming and have some awesome stories to share about the food. We will definitely come back soon.
Food and soup, all well balanced and delicious. Highly recommended!
Best Thai food in the region, hands down. I love the summer roll and som Tom for starters since they're fresh and have bright flavors. I used to be all about the pad Thai, but they convinced me to try something new, and since then it's been drunken beef or massamun curry. Both are Soo tasty. My husband usually likes the pineapple fried rice or pad see ew with chicken. Yes, the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and it's always disappointing when you're craving their yummy food. However, I love that it's open Mondays because a lot of Asian restaurants are closed. The owners are delightful and have been good about making sure I'm happy. And, yes, they make me very happy. If it's not sometimes I like to pop in just for a boba smoothie or iced coffee with egg rolls. I think my only complaint would be I wish they were closer to my house or offer delivery to Saint John. :-)
very good food, the staff is super friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful.
Services is really good ... shakes are fresh and tasty .. spice Thai fried rice is amazing .. must try this ,,
Great overall experience. The server was INCREDIBLY friendly and the food was INSANELY good. Would recommend to anyone who has ever had good Thai food.
This was my second trip to Spice. My first visit was pleasant as we dined in. My second trip was take out and what a disappointment for someone who was very hungry. The shrimp was old and dry along with the noodles. It was so bad my wife and I could not finish the meal.
Golly what a good meal. Order the Thai ice tea.
This place is awesome thai! We came the day the started serving sushi and it was very good! My husband and I will definitely be back!
Very nice restaurant great atmosphere and great food served with a purpose
The red curry with chicken was good. The place is cozy with a friendly staff. The prices are fair and they have Boba tea which is tough to find in these parts. Give it a try it's across from Red Lobster
I have eaten here several times and picked up carryout. everytime spot on. beautiful presentation, delicious food, great service. fantastic Thai place. highly recommend.
Nice atmosphere. Great service. Good food.
I tried SPICE (Thai Cuisine) on a whim today and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Potstickers and they were great especially the dipping sauce! I also had the (Spicey) Drunken Noodles topped with Tofu (they also have chicken, shrimp, and beef) and I loved it. I got my order to go but next time i'll definitely sit inside and enjoy my meal. It's a very nice little spot I highly recommend it. Fyi they do have a small selection of beer and wine-BONUS!
We ordered pot stickers and they were fried and only 6 small for $7.00! .Iordered Ginger shrimp with added broccoli and they charged $2.00 extra and it was raw, not even cooked at all. and the sauce was broth not a thick gravy like I'd hoped. Shrimp had tails on and I had to remove them. No complimentary dessert like a cookie or anything.Chinese places give you free tea and large portions for a lot less money. Flavor of sauce was good but I wouldn't go back. Over priced.😣
Food was good and service was fast!
Excellent. Might be in best Thai around. Suggest you try this place! I had the red curry with shrimp. Perfect amount of heat! Can't wait to come back
Wow!!! What a treat!!! The food was authentic, delicious. Service awesome. Will be back!
It's just awesome. The menu is small, but great. I've been here a few times and it's delicious and reasonably priced. Highly highly recommend.
Delicious food. Great environment. Wasn't expecting much at first. Must try for anyone who likes Thai food.
Good delicious and authentic pad see ew. Friendly service
Food is delicious. Highly recommended.
This spot never disappoints. They serve awesome dishes for reasonable prices, there are no long waits even when the place is loaded.
Today was our second visit, and so far we've been very pleased. We are by no means connoisseurs when it comes to Thai food, but what we've eaten has been delicious. The gui chai, crab rangoon, curries (massamun and red) , and noodle dishes (pad Thai and drunken noodles) we've tried have all been really flavorful. We also appreciated the selection of Asian beers. This will definitely become a regular spot for my husband and I.
Spice Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the place is. Very clean, spacious and traditional. The food is excellent. So far I've ordered the pineapple fried rice, orange chicken stir fry, drunken noodles and red curry soup. I recommend them all. Very delicious and they present their food so well!!
The food and service is excellent!!!! A total gem in NWI !!! Cute decor and VERY clean!
Best Thai food in NWI. Tried the red curry and the glass noodles and both were delicious. Very friendly staff, as well. My only complaint is that it was a little chilly for a January evening. But I'll certainly be back. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
From the drinks and food to the service, this place is phenomenal! Best thai food in the area hands down.
The food here is absolutely amazing and the owner is the sweetest!
Went to this place after the good reviews and I was very disappointed. We order the beef paht Thai noodles and they were bland and a jelly like glob. The drunken noodles were okay in taste but super soggy. The dumplings were also bland and the orange chicken was on the salty side. I really wanted to like this place, but will not be returning.
First time at Spice Thai Cuisine. My Orange Chicken was served hot and quick. The food was Outstanding! The Service was Excellent!!.
Strange operating hours. Closed one day a week that is not a Sunday or a Monday and closed between lunch and dinner. Too much to remember. They need to be open like every other restaurant is. Twice we showed up and they were closed.
Laid back atmosphere with jazz whisperings in the background and super hero art covering the back wall. It's cozy but a bit shy of romantic. I had the pot stickers and veggie Pad Siew and both were delicious. You know the chef knows their business when the noodles are a bit darker, more caramelized here and there to create the intense flavor desired in this dish. I had to order one to go!
Get rid of the television and this place would be perfect. Amazing food. We are addicted to this place. The orange chicken, any of the curries, and the pineapple cashew chicken are some of our favorites.
Great food, even greater people that service you.
Awesome pad thai and great staff! Don't mind reviewers complaining about their hours. Very common in regards to niche/oriental restaurants. Simply look at their operating days/hours via Google. Apparently knowing they are closed one day a week and between lunch-dinner is "too much to remember"... ffs lol
The food here was delicious and rightly priced. We ordered pot stickers, spicy fried rice, Drunken noodles and Everything was cooked perfectly. Will surely go back and would recommend anyone craving for thai food around the area to try out this place.
Been to a lot of Thai food restaurants, and this one is not bad. Lesser than asparagus, but also cheaper. Tried the red curry and it was good, and so was the rice. Only complaint is the soda is just one can for $2, q bit of a rip, but the rest of our meal was good.
Exceptional quality and authentic!! Hidden gem for NWI. Only regret is not finding it sooner!!!
Best thai food ever! Always fresh and hot. B and Boo are always so sweet and welcoming and the service and cleanliness is impeccable! Our go to favorite neighborhood spot.
Our first time there and we loved it! Probably our new favorite Thai restaurant! Delicious, quick and good prices!
